1893, WORLD'S COLUMBIAN EXPOSITION, "MACHINERY HALL" SILK RIBBON, Choice Near Mint.
Silk Ribbon titled: "MACHINERY HALL COLUMBIAN EXPOSITION CHICAGO 1893 ", produced by John Best & Co., Paterson, NJ, measuring 7.25" x 2.5". This beautiful multicolored ribbon features an image of Machinery Hall in black and gray, and blue, gold, and red fancy lettering. Complete with golden tassel at the bottom, and pinned to its original "SOUVENIR" promotion sheet. Ribbon is in great condition, and the souvenir promo sheet has an edge split along the center fold, but the printing is bright and clean. A colorful memento from the 400th anniversary of Columbus' journey.
