Historic Americana
1904, "BRADFORD EXPOSITION" SILK RIBBON, Very Fine.
"Cartwright / Memorial / INAUGURAL EXHIBITION BRADFORD 1904," 4.5" x 2.5". Featuring a black and gray machine-embroidered image of a stately building with clock tower on the grounds of the exhibition--possibly from the St. Louis World's Fair. Central figure is a handsome, blue/red/white/black threaded coat of arms, inscribed "LABOR OMNIA VINCIT." Mounting remnants on verso and along left margin and upper right corner. Ribbon appears to have been cut from a larger ribbon or sash. A superb, colorful example.

Early American will accept payment by check or credit card.
