1973//83 Forbes Balloon Covers
Lot of three different flown covers carried on different "Forbes Magazine" balloon flights. Included are covers from the 1973 United States Coast-to-Coast balloon flight onboard the "Chateau de Balleroy; the 1975 flight attempting the First Balloon Crossing of the Atlantic Ocean and the First Non-Stop Balloon Crossing of the United States, onboard the "Windborne" and the 1983 Château de Balleroy balloon flight in honor of the US Postmaster General selling Malcolm Forbes the United States first issue of balloon stamps. The three covers are contained in a special descriptive commemorative folder created by Forbes Magazine. This is the first time we have seen these scarce covers.
