Emile Galle, Nancy. 'Lys' table light, c. 1903. H. 62.4 cm. Overlaid glass, clear, amber-coloured and opaque seal red, multiply etched pattern. Inside matted. Signed: Galle (2x). Brass mounting. Electrification replaced. Galle showed this model in several exhibitions in 1903 e.g. in the Beleuchtungskšrper-Ausstellung in Reichenberg, where Galle received the 1. Staatspreis (state price).
