3/18/1961 Little Joe 5A Launch Cover.
An unaddressed cover with a magenta hand stamped descriptive cachet, a magenta hand stamped launch cachet and a Wallops Island hand cancel. This flight was the second unsuccessful attempt to test the spacecraft abort system under the most severe conditions. Premature escape rocket ignition was again the cause of the failure.
