An abstraction of the skyline of Manhattan looking towards Brooklyn by the talented American abstract artist. 22x30 inch oil on heavyweight paper, signed by the artist. Circa 1980's. Pinhole marks at upper left and upper right corners. Domestic shipping $125, International depends upon location.Joyce Rezendes studied with Diebenkorn, Oliveira and Hasegawa at California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, where she was a scholarship student for her BFA (1957) and with Kokoschka at his Summer Academy in Salzburg during her eighteen months of travel in Europe on a B. Alexander Scholarship. Living in Florence for two winters, she had a one woman show at the Casa Di Dante. She has devoted a number of years to abstractions of the Hopi Indian tribe ceremonies and lore.
