Probably second half 19th century, Moscow, with maker's mark ''HM'', possibly Nicholai Motokov or Nikita Michaelov, 84 standard, with hinged oval top over a conforming rectangular case with curved sides, decorated overall with C-scrolls and floral and foliate sprays, 4'' H x 2'' W, 3 oz, est:$1200/1800

Generally good condition overall. With typical marks, scratches, rubbing and tarnishing commensurate with age and use. With a rose-tinted interior. Lacking straps to interior with some minor bending to strap holders. This and all lots are sold AS IS.
