Marked with two ''WMF'' maker's marks (Wurttembergische Metallwarenfabrik) and further ''Ikora'' and ''Germany'', the rectangular hinged lid decorated with playing cards, a cigar and a match, above a conforming case, 2'' H x 6.5'' W x 5'' D, est:$300/500. Note: The name "Ikora" originates from a south east Asian flower (Ixora) which was dedicated to the goddess Durga. The selection of the name for a line of decorative objects was intended to give the products an air of prized exclusivity
Condition reportGeneral light marks, scratches and rubbing to surface commensurate with age and use. With some slight dirt accumulation to top edges and to reverse of lid. Also with some loss of silvering to reverse of lid. AS-IS. ALL SALES FINAL.
