Slave carried turned cover, addressed to Mrs. Joseph Prather of Walton's Ford, Georgia, with manuscript at bottom left "Care of boy Crockett." Crockett was most likely one of the Hackett slaves from Clarksville, Georgia, as that is the original addressee of the cover. VG.
