An unusual A.D.S. 1p. legal folio, Ohio, Aug. 20, 1822, a court document accusing the defendant of intentionally slandering the good name the plaintiff, William McLundy, by stating: "...in the presence and hearing of divers good and worthy citizens of this state...that...he...ran away from George C. Sawbridge's place for getting his negro girl with child...where the said plaintiff hath been greatly injured...". A couple of fold tears, otherwise very good.
