Rhode's Division, [Petersburg, Va.], Jan. 26, 1865 ordering, in part: "The following details…will be made to report at these Hd. Qurs. at 8 1/2 o'clock to morrow morning for fatigue duty. Each Brigade will send one spade. Battle's Brigade…32 men. Grime's Brigade…38 men…". Signed and made official by a. a. g. Major Henry A. Whiting as a staff officer on Grime's staff. VG.
