Nice gold embossed cover, very good...plus; "The American Heritage Picture History of the Civil War, two volumes, in slip case, very good...plus; "Down in Dixie: Life in a Cavalry Regiment in the War Days From the Wilderness to Appomattox " by Stanton Allen of the first Mass. Cavalry, Boston, 1892. Loose at binding, else a nice narrative with period and black dialect.
