Gorgeous single embossed and colored sheet folded once vertically to make four pages; approximately 115x178 mm. Very nice war-date wood engraved valentine card with added hand-coloring showing a flag draped Union tent which opens onto the scene of a soldier seated at a portable table writing a letter to his wife or girlfriend at home. Pasted beneath this scene is an added sentiment in color entitled "I Dream of Thee." With elaborate blind stamped border. Fine.
