Emperor Napoleon Official Stamp

Very rare original wax seal with profile image of Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte with his crown of olive leaves, as depicted in the painting by artist, Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres, surrounded by "FRANCAISE REPUBLIQUE 1808". The seal handle is made of solid ebony with bronze elements, it is 4 inches long and the diameter of the bronze Emperor seal is .75 inches. These were used to authentic official correspondence from the French government under Napoleon Bonaparte. Fine.
