Large albumen entitled "Vanderbilt's Lumbering Camp, Transylvania Co. [North Carolina]." 9"x6-3/4", depicting several loggers with a large team of oxen pulling enormous logs in the mountains of North Carolina. Most likely this camp was used for providing timber for the 175,000 square foot Biltmore Estate which was under construction from 1888-1895. VG.
