A rare partly-printed Creek Indian Tribal Land Grant secretarially signed, "John Tyler" 1p. large folio, August 28, 1841, and reads in part: "...WHEREAS, Moc-Qua-Ger, one of the CREEK TRIBE OF INDIANS, by virtue of a Treaty between the UNITED STATES, and the said CREEK TRIBE OF INDIANS, made the 24th day of March, 1832, became entitled, out of the Lands ceded to the United States by the said Treaty, to the Westhalf of Section thirty in Township nineteen of Range twenty five East, in the Tallapoose Land District Alabama, containing Three hundred and twenty one acres and thirty hundredths of an acre according to the official plat of the said Lands, returned to the GENERAL LAND OFFICE by the SURVEYOR GENERAL, which said Fracturith approbation of the President of the United States has been duly sold and conveyed by the said Ma-qua-ger toJ.C. Watson & Co. as appears by the Returns to the General Land Office from the Office of Indian Affairs War Department, and the said Tract having been assigned by articles of agreement to James C. Watson, in trust to the said James C. Watson and Peter C. Harris, John Peabody, Edward Hanrick and William Walker, constituting the said firm of J.C. Watson..." Fine.
