18 1/2"x 11 3/4".The Hindu god, Shiva, is seated with his wife, Parvati, on the white bull, Nandi, who serves as his mount, Two (2) winged figures flank them. Shiva holds a trishul (trident) and bird in Two (2) of his Four (4) hands and a serpent is draped around his neck. His front hand is held up in the abhaya mudra, which is a symbol for protection. His fourth hand is wrapped around a smaller figure next to him, Parvati, his wife. Nandi, the white bull, is represented standing. Above Shiva looms Mahakala, who devours everything in the end.
