Carved ivory and rosewood miniature screen, Chinese, has 5 intricately carved panels, each panel carved in high relief, overall dimensions: 18" high, 20 1/2" wide, 5" deep; with individual panels measuring 2 @ 7 1/2" x 2 3/4", 2 @ 7 3/4" x 3 3/16" and the center panel @ 8 3/16" x 4 9/16". Depicting battle scenes between humans and immortals, represented as monkeys and pigs. Each panel section hosts a myriad of smaller carved, pierced ivory medallions, as well as the silver inlay detailed scroll work throughout the angled wood screen frame.
Condition: Good, some fading of the wood finish.
