Wally Schirra Autograph
on an undated, handwritten letter on Project Mercury, NASA, Space Task Group, Langley AFB, VA. letterhead stationery. This is an extremely early letter based both on the letterhead and on the fact that he writes: "You may wonder what the symbol (in the upper right hand corner of the letterhead) means-it is the astronomical symbol of Mercury with the "7" included". A rare and desirable letter.
