1845 Currier & Ives Print of the Death of Andrew Jackson

1845, Print "Death of Gen'l Andrew Jackson," Currier & Ives, New York, Fine.
This scarce hand-colored lithograph printed by N. Currier measures 13.75" x 8.5" by sight, and has an overall measurement of 17.5" x 12.5" with frame included. Hand-color with hues of pink, blue, gold and green. This print centers on a dying and bedridden Andrew Jackson with loved ones nearby. The caption reads, "Born, 15th, March 1767, Died, 8th, June 1845, President of the United States from 1829 to 1837, 'I am at the hands of a merciful god - I have full confidence in his goodness and mercy. The Bible is true.'" A small 3/4" piece to the lower corner tip is missing, which is hard to see, with slight affect to this historic print.
