Speech of Honorable Charles Sumner
on the "Outrages in Kansas"

November 2, 1855, "The Slave Oligarchy and Its Usurpation. Outrages in Kansas... Speech of Hon. Charles Sumner," Printed by Buell & Blanchard, Washington, D.C., Choice Fine.
16-page disbound pamphlet, 9.25" x 5.75". A speech given by Senator Sumner in Faneuil Hall, Boston on November 2, 1855. Sumner, the antislavery campaigner and Massachusetts senator, asks: "Fellow citizens of Boston: Are you for Freedom or are you for Slavery? ..." Edge tears and separated last page. Some pencil marks, but the fiery speech is quite good!
