Produced on newsprint measuring 5.25" x 3.5", this small handbill announces the Democratic Ticket with Stephen Douglas for President and Herschel Johnson for Vice President, along with 15 local Democratic Party favorites. Many will remember Douglas as the fiery orator who challenged a young Abe Lincoln who ran on the Republican Party ticket, but not many have a copy of a party ticket from that era. Signed on the back by a voter!
