c. 1865, Civil War "Patriotic" Beaded Watch Fob, Choice Mint condition.
Absolutely gorgeous 4" x 1.5" beadwork "ribbon" or fob. A beautiful hand-crafted piece composed of multicolored beads with two small Union shields (one on a golden eagle) against a black background. A stunning and certainly a unique piece which is somewhat similar to the mourning piece we sold as Lot 494 in our October 2000 sale for $1,150.00!
