A Jewish Man Playing Billiards Wood Printing Block

c. 1780, Hand-Engraved Wooden Printing Block, depicting a European Man who appears dressed as a Jew, Playing Billiards, About Extremely Fine.
This unique, very interesting and very unusual, hand-engraved wooden printing block, measuring 3" x 3.75," depicts a European man dressed in a fancy outfit with an odd hat, holding a pool cue, gesturing toward a man who is also holding a pool cue. Behind them is a billiard table and various onlookers, some of whom are also wearing Arabic type dress. The printing surface of this block is in great condition, but the block has cracked about 1" at the top center rim edge. The modern looking identification number "635" appears in large incuse numerals on the lower right side edge of the block, added at a later time, and does not affect the print at top. This fantastic, antique printing block has a very rare and possibly having a Judaic theme.
