1790 "Massachusetts Monthly State Lottery" Ticket

March 2, 1790. "Massachusetts Monthly State Lottery." Class Seventh. Ticket. Gem Crisp Uncirculated.
This gorgeous colonial Massachusetts Lottery Ticket measures 2" x 4" and is a stunningly bright and crisp example. It is printed on fine quality white laid paper that is as fresh as the day it was printed, with a nice indent along its left side, Signed "S. Cooper" and endorsed on the back (presumably by the winner). We have offered many other early American Lottery tickets and this pristine "Seventh Class" variety is far more rare than most.
