Important 1705 "White Metal" Thaler of Mecklenburg-Schwerin German States / Mecklenburg-Schwerin 1705 Thaler, Struck in White Metal, Choice Extremely Fine-45. Type As Dav-2439. Friedrich Wilhelm. Bust right. Reverse: Crowned arms in elaborate frame. This coin is very even in strike and has a pleasing silvery-pewter color. It is further highlighted by traces of subdued underlying original mint luster. Some faint scattered nicks to the obverse fields and the reverse remains extremely clean and hard with excellent overall eye appeal. (The Current Krause catalog lists this coin at $2,200. in EF-40.)
