Free form hand built from clay slabs, sculpture has a glazed in a light green opaque finish, measures 21" H x 14" D x 18" L. There is one chip and a minor broken corner on base with approximately a 1" section missing, no other major damage found. Arnie Zimmerman is known for his large scale vessels resembling totem polls and his works are displayed in the Brooklyn Museum, The Contemporary Museum, Honolulu, and the L.A. County Museum Of Art. In 2005 he was awarded the Louis Comfort Tiffany Foundation Award for his work in the arts. This is a very Rare piece from The Daniel Rhodes Estate.
