"Ambush" Hand carved made of white pine depicting a scene of 5 Indians attacking a Wells Fargo Overaland Express Stagecoach mounted on custom wood base with wheels, 4' 7"H x 12'W x 3'8"D. Includes 6 wood stanchions strung together with rope mounted on round 50 LB wieghts. From a prominent Michiagn collector who purchased the sculpture for $16,000 at the Davis Cypress Gallery in Punta Gorda FL in 1999. The artist currently resides in Brockport, NY and in 2001 carved a wood sculpture honoring the firefighters who rasided the flag from the ruins of the World Trade Center and in 2002 was commisioned to make his work into a bronze replica which took over 4 months to complete and is now located in front of the Brockport NY fire station on Main Street. This piece has been stored in a climate controlled environment and is in good condition. Frieght shipping required with this item.
