This substantial pendant features a 45mm solid piece of carnelian hand-carved with an image of Shiva in meditation pose. The carnelian is bezel set in sterling silver. Filligree style bail will fit up to a 5mm Omega. Carnelian is 10mm thick. Pendant weighs a hefty 72 grams. Shiva is the third deity of the Hindu triad of great gods the others being Brahma and Vishnu. Shiva is often referred to as the Destroyer but it might be better to think of him as the God of Transformation since he is often associated with creation that comes out of destruction.
