The hand grip controller is used to pilot the Apollo Command Module. This piece of unflown NASA hardware is in virtually new condition, with no dents and the beta cloth connector cover is complete and clean. This silicone rubber boot is perfect, and it also includes its Cannon plug protective metal cap. The length of the attached cable is 13'3", while the height of the hand-controller is 11". The controller bears the following identification part numbers: "NAA/S and ID control #: ME901-CTC4-C102, Mfr serial #: 1CC2SDAK1C23, Mfr Part #: M5J7XAZ-450012A, Contract #: 5DEC 1966." If you collect hardware, this is a must for your collection. Apollo era hand controllers rarely come to auction and this one is in the best condition we have seen. A similar item in lesser condition realized $7,500 in a Superior auction.
