"Paul's Leg". 1979. Vintage gelatin silver print on Agfa paper. 37,8 x 37,8 cm (50,5 x 40,5 cm). Signed by the photographer in ink on the verso.
This is one of Peter Hujar's most iconic images and was used for the cover jacket of the Stedelijk's retrospective of the photographer's work. - Two minimal handling creases more visible at an angle, slight traces of use in margins, otherwise a beautiful tonal print in near excellent condition.
Provenance: From the photographer to the present private European collection.
