First Edition.Rare and curious work regarding mummified remains found in a subterranean site at Venzone in 1829. The methods of embalming, condition of the mummies and the mummified subjects themselves are discussed. The author was a physician at the civic hospital in Udine as well as a member of various other scientific societies. Worldcat locates only 7 copies.
