PASS-CO Graded Very Choice Crisp Uncirculated-64

State of Connecticut. March 1, 1780. Two Shillings Six Pence. Slit Cancel. PASS-CO graded Very Choice Crisp Uncirculated-64.
Fr. CT-221. This crisp, clean note has four full margins and excellent centering on its face. Notes of this March 1, 1780 issue are quite scarce and hard to locate in this impressive quality. The paper is clean and fresh with deep rich black print quality. This note is currently finer in quality than any reported on the PMG "Population" report, which shows zero notes of this denomination graded. Ex Stack's John J. Ford, Jr., Part XV Sale, October 2006, Lot 8034.
