"Albany County" Issue Payable In "Continental Currency" New York. February 17, 1776. Five Shillings or Five Eights of a Dollar. "Albany County" Payable "in CONTINENTAL CURRENCY." Fine. This is an extremely rare special "Albany County" issue, which is rarely located in such high quality. This note has four full margins, two being Jumbo sheet margins at the bottom and right. The red and brown signatures and serial number are present. There are some conservation and repair to the centerfold and top right corner. The text of this remarkable note states that its payment can be made in either "Spanish Milled Dollars" or "Continental Currency."
