North Carolina Currency
Bright North Carolina December 1768 Forty Shillings Note

Province of North Carolina. December 1768 Act. Forty Shillings. PASS-CO graded Extremely Fine-45.
Fr. NC-132. An impressive note with a well sealed centerfold edge split as noted on its holder. This extremely attractive note is bright, clean and well centered. The print clarity is strong and sharp on bright, clean paper. The paper shows a partial crown from the watermark at the lower right with some typical endorsements on the blank reverse. According the the current PMG "Population" report, to date, the finest example they have graded is an EF-40.
