Pennsylvania Currency
PMG AU-58 "EPQ" October 25, 1775 Fifteen Shillings

Pennsylvania. October 25, 1775. Fifteen Shillings. PMG graded Choice About Uncirculated-58 Exceptional Paper Quality.
Fr. PA-191. This is a fresh, clean and vibrant, sharp appearing note. It has remarkably bold, vivid black printing and bold red and brown ink signatures. The face is well centered while the reverse is printed towards the lower right. All four corner tips and the edges are sharp. We see no fold or other sign of any actual circulation. There is a natural piece of cloth thread made within the paper at the lower right corner which looks like a possible crease or fold, but is clearly not. Thus, leading this cataloger to suggest that this note is too conservatively graded. In any event, this is a lovely note.
