South Carolina. February 8, 1779. Ninety Dollars. "Warrior" vignette. PMG graded About Uncirculated-50 Exceptional Paper Quality.
Fr. SC-158. The reverse comment on this PMG holder states "Exceptional Paper Quality." This popular note type shows "Hercules strangling a lion" as the reverse central vignette, and it has the printed signature of Thomas Coram, the engraver, within the design. There is light overall circulation on this important denomination and type.
