Encased Postage Stamps
Impressive One Cent "Joseph L. Bates" Two Words Type

EP-6, HB-50, S-26a, 1¢, JOSEPH L. BATES, FANCY GOODS (Two Words), Choice Extremely Fine.
Rated as Rarity-4 (31 to 40 known) according to Fred Reed. A bold blue stamp is extremely well centered, having a couple of faint tone spots near Franklin's face and forehead. The mica is perfectly clean and the case grades fully About New, having extremely sharp detail and excellent light golden-tan coloration with underlying traces of original mint luster. A very pleasing example of this scarce type.

Early American will accept payment by check or credit card.
