Scarce "North American Life Insurance" 3¢ Denomination

EP-53, HB-190, S-141a, Three Cents, NORTH AMERICA LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY, Straight "INSURANCE," Choice About Extremely Fine.
Rated as Rarity-5 (21 to 30 known) according to Fred Reed. A very clean, pleasing example having a slightly dull red, well centered stamp. The mica is clear and unbroken, there being a couple of tiny nicks at the case edge. The case itself is a nice clean rich chestnut in color with extremely sharp, distinct EF or better detail. An excellent example for the collector wanting a scarcer piece.
