FR-1280, 1st Issue, 25¢ Jefferson, Sheet of 11 Notes, PMG graded About Uncirculated-55 Exceptional Paper Quality.
This extraordinary multiple is Ex. Frederick Mayer Collection and is the single largest multiple of any perforated FR-1280 known to exist. Of course, even a single FR-1280 is a scarce note in its own right, and multiples are all very rare. There is only one full perforated sheet of 16 notes known to exist, and that is of the more common FR-1279 number. That FR-1279 sheet sold a few years ago for $14,000. This remarkable Block of 11 notes is a great show piece and meant for an advanced Fractional Currency collection. Unique, easily worth our very conservative estimate range and is certain to attract competitive, serious bidding.
