Early Kentucky Proof Rarity

Columbia. KY, The Bank of Columbia, $1, India Paper Proof Mounted on Paper, Very Choice.
Haxby KY-55 G12. PRF-R8. We have have seen some issued notes on this bank, but only the proofs from the 1990 Imprint by ABN Sale of which this is one. Great style by Murray Draper Fairman & Co. America is seated with an eagle and shield at the top center. Deeply engraved panel ends as used by MDF with "KENTUCKY" at the the right end. Few collectors have owned this proof treasure since it was archived 190 years ago (wow!!!). Subtle beauty and obvious great rarity.
