Louisville, KY, The Bank of Kentucky, $--- Post Note, India Paper Proof on Card, Choice.
Haxby KY-195 G448 Design PN1. Hughes 525. PRF-R8. A very scarce imprint by Casilear, Durand, Burton & Edmonds, New York. The plate note in the Hughes reference book and it might be the Haxby Plate Note as well. Excellent layout with the denomination to be written into the center. Vignettes at the top left and right. Seated Agriculture in the upper corner and three females at the upper right. A wonderful combination of attributes including a nice pedigree from the Glenn Martin Collection and hence its plate note status.
