Haxby PA-440-G28 SENC. PRF-R7. A late 1820s proof note from Fairman, Draper, Underwood & Co. Handsome scene of the Schuylkill River with large oak on shore. Left end, DeSoto and right end William Penn. Lightly inked, on the proper paper of the period. The proof is bit tightly trimmed, but a great rarity. Likely to be ex Western Reserve Historical Society collection.
