Only Two Examples in the ABN Sale

Providence, RI, The American Bank, $--- Post-Note, India Paper Proof on Card, Gem.
Haxby RI-240 G60. PRF-R7. There were only two examples of this proof by Charles Toppan & Co. in the 1990 ABN Sale. The other example had some condition flaws, this is a Gem. At the top, a steamer in a harbor. Matching end panels with "POST NOTE" in shaded cartouche. The only other example we know of is the Haxby Plate Note. Well printed and a very pleasing design.
