Fifty Dollar Second Liberty Loan 4-1/4% Gold Bond 1918. May 9, 1918 Act. United States of America. Fifty Dollars. Second Liberty Loan. Converted 4-1/4% Gold Bond. Very Fine. This bond has nice looking golden tint color (like the color used on the gold certificates), is well engraved and executed by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. Thomas Jefferson's portrait is at the top center of the face and the back is printed in brown. Small cancel holes at right. There are some remaining coupons attached, being adhered with the use of strips of clear plastic tape and staples. The face of the bond itself is quite attractive. Scarce.
