Macerated Currency
Exceedingly Rare "Macerated Currency Heraldic Eagle" Macerated Currency American Heraldic Eagle, with its Original Red, White and Blue Silk Decorative band, Superb Near New. This is an exceedingly rare example, the first we have ever seen or offered in over two decades. It is in beautiful virtual Mint quality, measuring 2.5" tall with a 7" long wingspan. The original printed paper Treasury tag fully remains fully intact and boldly printed. It reads: "Made of United States Bank Notes redeemed and macerated at the U. S. Treasury, Washington, D.C. - Estimated $5,000". A truly superb example and one which will we believe will prove virtually impossible to locate again or ever improve upon.
