c. 1929-33, Macerated Currency Silhouette Portrait of President Herbert Hoover on Card, Very Fine.
This original US Treasury department Macerated Currency card exhibits a very close profile likeness of President Hoover, whose term of office was from 1929 to 1933. There is a light crease below his portrait and the edges show some light handling wear. One of the last macerated currency portraits issued, this card has a loop on the back for hanging. A very scarce, rarely encountered, Macerated Currency souvenir that was sold in Washington, DC.
