July 29, 1952, Typed Letter Signed, "Herbert Hoover" on engraved personal stationery, Stanford University, California, measuring 10.50" x 7.25", Choice Very Fine. Letter of thanks to Mr. Willis Whitney of General Electric Company, Schenectady, New York, in full: "That was indeed a most gracious message - and I want you to know how deeply I appreciate it." There are two typical horizontal folds and a slight center crease. Signature is bold and clear in blue ink.
