Truman Complains of Army "Boors" HARRY S TRUMAN & BESS TRUMAN, 33rd President of the United States and His First Lady. June 1, 1953, Typed Letter Signed, "Harry S Truman" in fountain pen ink on personal stationery, Kansas City, MO, 10.5" x 7.5", Near Mint. Addressed to a friend and supporter, Edward McKim, complaining of how the Army handled a certain case: "I was more than pleased to read the letter which you wrote to the Secretary of the Army. They acted in this case as they have acted in all of them -- just like a bunch of boors..." Still a straight-shooter after he left office in 1952. Accompanied by the original transmittal envelope. This lot also includes an undated Autograph Letter Signed, "Bess W. Truman", on "The White House" stationery, 9.25" x 6.25", Extremely Fine. Bess thanks a "Col.
