Colonial America
Pair of Early Woodblock Printing Plates of a Dog and Fox

c. 1800, Pair of Woodblock Printing Plates Depicting a Dog and a Fox, Choice Very Fine.
These two original, hand-engraved, 1.5" x 2.25" wooden printing blocks are of similar size and style and have similar oval borders, suggesting that they may have been used in the same magazine or book. Based on the general style, these blocks likely date to the late 1700's to early 1800's. Both are in very nice condition, with no cracks or significant blemishes. Two fine examples of Colonial American era printing methods. (2 items)

Early American will accept payment by check or credit card.
